A dreamy little resort on Croatia's magnificent Dalmatian coast, the teeny hamlet of Mlini is a lotus eating paradise. Don't choose Mlini if you like the high life or if you need loud bars, lots of shops and late night discos. Mlini is where peace comes dropping slow...... This tiny fishing village does have some really lovely restaurants though and plenty of typical bars to while away the balmy evenings (and yes, it does have a few nightclubs!). But the resort is essentially a quiet and laid back haven.
Croatia holidays in Mlini are for complete relaxation and for winding down from life's stresses and tribulations. As picturesque as any colour postcard, the resort is sheltered by high mountains and is located in the curve of Zupa Bay. Olive, cypress and citrus trees abound and the village is charming and quaint and timeless.
Mlini holidays are full of warm days which can be lazily spent on a couple of small beaches (even a couple of man made sandy beaches) or hire a bicycle or even take a stroll in the beautiful countryside. Historic Dubrovnik is only 11 klms away and is serviced by local bus every 30 minutes.
A holiday in Mlini is all about a true local experience where Croatia's traditions are upheld and the locals are proud of their heritage. Ideal for sightseeing, there are areas of historical interest and some pretty stone bridges and old mills. The name "Mlini" means mills and the village had many water mills which were operated by streams and brooks that gurgled nearby.
Aer Lingus operates regular flights into Dubrovnik and we have a selection of hotels in the resort.
