Subjects to in Lapland
Lapland is a region in Northern Finland that is home to one of the most famous people in the world, Santa Claus. Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland, is Santa Claus’ official hometown and is covered in permanent snow from November to April.
Santa Claus can be found every day at Santa Claus Village, a specially-made village where he greets children and families from around the world. Santa Claus Village is open year-round and is completely free to visit! At Santa's Village, you can:
- Have a private meeting with Santa Claus
- Learn about Christmas traditions from around the world at the Christmas Exhibition
- See where all the letters to Santa arrive in Santa’s Official Post Office
- Cross the Arctic Circle
- Visit the Husky or Reindeer Farms (*additional cost)
- Visit Snowman World (*additional cost)
Subjects to to Lapland are something special whether you’re going with kids or it’s a bucket list item you want to tick off. The snow, lights, music and festive cheer make it impossible to not get into the Christmas spirit. We recommend visiting Lapland between November and February when it’s at its most magical.
Click&Go holidays to Lapland include return flights from Dublin and central 3* and 4* accommodation in Rovaniemi.
