Junior Web Developer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The role will report to the Senior Web Developer and involves;

  •  Developing and enhancing the company’s websites and back office system
  • Working closely with 3rd party IT providers
  • Updating and maintaining the company’s websites
  • Working closely with the senior management in the company to ensure best practise policies are in place

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years web development experience
  • Experience working with e-commerce sites
  • Experience with full stack web development with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Html
  • Experience managing all parts of planning and development including design, implementation, QA and documentation
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of web application security and performance tuning
  • Strong organisational, project management and time management skills
  • Good commercial\business awareness
  • Similar experience in a travel company preferred but not essential
  • The ability to communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience
  • Relevant third level qualification

Senior Web Developer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Due to the relocation of one of our Senior Web Developers we are now looking for an experienced and professional PHP developer to join our team. The role will report to the Software Development Manager and involves;

Brand Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Brand Manager to define and drive Click&Go brand awareness to a position of being the leading consumer travel brand within Ireland and longer term a leading travel brand across Europe. The Brand Manager will also drive the Customer Experience focus internally and ensure that our Brand promise is being translated into a superior Customer Experience mindset across all functions. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure a clear brand strategy is in place for the Click&Go brand
  • Work closely with relevant internal teams to ensure all marketing and product activity will meet commercial and company objectives
  • Lead the development and implementation of annual brand plans and associated budgets
  • Responsible for the development and ownership of brand architecture for brands
  • Product innovation – working with relevant market and consumer insights, identify and evaluate opportunities for new products and holiday types
  • Assist in development, management and implementation of brand advertising and media planning programme, including content strategy for ClickandGo.com
  • Support in the development, management and implementation of appropriate public relations programmes to support development of brands
  • Support the development and management of digital marketing activity in support of the annual brand plans, e.g. website development, Social Media, Content...etc.
  • Identify and exploit appropriate sponsorship and joint marketing initiatives in support of brand objectives, ensuring appropriate assets are secured and activated to full potential
  • Manage internal brand communications for brands to ensure visibility/understanding of the ClickandGo brand and to assist Sales team through provision of the necessary tools to sell effectively
  • Assist in developing a Customer Experience strategy that aligns with the Click&Go Brand guidelines and reflects our Brand commitment to the Customer

 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate with relevant Marketing qualification
  • 2+ years marketing experience, Travel brand marketing preferred
  • Experience in developing, management and activation of successful brand plans and strategies
  • Proven experience and possess the ability to analyse internal and external market data, creating reports for the management team, providing well thought out consumer insights, and making sound recommendations

Holiday Support Team Executive - Weekend cover

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Click&Go is a multi-award-winning online travel company based in Dublin city centre. We provide consumers with an easy to use platform to design their own holiday by matching flights with great value accommodation across Europe and Ham pretty. We are also the official holiday provider for Aer Lingus under the brand Subjects to with Aer Lingus and the holiday provider for Shannon Airport under the brand Fly-Shannon.  Current Headcount is approx. 60.  In June 2118 Click&Go’s Polish website went live, our first international expansion. There is an office in Warsaw with a startup of 3.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The main purpose of this role is to provide weekend cover for the Holiday Support Team.

The Holiday Support Team are the primary point of contact for our clients before travel, and when they are on holidays. A high level of customer service and efficiency is required in order to provide an excellent customer experience. The role involves handling all queries on existing bookings and is very hands on, with both customers and suppliers.

 

WORKING HOURS

This permanent position is to specifically include weekend cover. The minimum number of days is 3 working days per week (Saturday, Sunday plus Monday or Friday). The weekend working hours are as follows; Saturday 9am to 4pm; Sunday and Bank Holiday, midday to 4pm. Outside of weekends the normal working hours apply, 9am to 5:30pm. The exact days and working hours can be further discussed at interview stage.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Attend to clients queries over the phone and by email (on existing booking)

· Manage situations and plan responses to clients when there are last minute changes to their holiday arrangements prior to travel

· Liaise with our suppliers abroad should clients require assistance whilst on holiday

· Process last minute cancellations of holiday bookings

European Sales Executive

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To convert offline enquiries into sales/bookings and to proactively generate additional offline sales/bookings. This role is responsible for sales across the full range of ClickandGo Subjects to. The primary focus will be European sun holidays and city breaks but also selling world-wide and cruise holidays. This involves delivery of sales targets using all available sales tools.

Marketing assistant tasks required by Advertising/PR & Partnerships - 
•    Get all papers, 7 days per week.
•    Check Click&Go advertising in print and update the advertising xls.
•    Send print advert advertising links to the sales team.
•    Circulate all print advertising to sales daily.
•    Review competitors print advertising and report to the Advertising/PR & Partnership Specialist on same.
•    Populate the pricing xls.
•    Manage Adpoint bookings for INM.
•    Sourcing quotes for any marketing collateral 

 

Marketing assistant tasks required by Search / Paid Search / Paid Social
•    Weekly competitors’ analysis of PPC Ads for particular campaign/destination.
•    Write compelling and effective ad copy to continually improve Click through Rate in Google Search.
•    Analysis of Ad Rankings for top performing keywords vs Peer Set.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED
•    Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
•    Good written and verbal communications skills to deliver a friendly and professional service at all times. 
•    Good knowledge of standard computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
